“Live in Caracalla – 50 Years of Azzurro” (BMG Rights Management/Warner) is the new album by Paolo Conte, recorded live at the Terme di Caracalla with an orchestra composed of exceptional musicians, celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of “Azzurro”, the first song—originally performed by Adriano Celentano—that brought him recognition in Italy and internationally.
The album also includes “Lavavetri”, a new previously unreleased gift from Paolo Conte, a unique waltz released a year after “Per me”, the last previously unreleased track featured in the “Zazzarazàz” collection.
